First and Foremost: My Children ARE Beautiful & I say that with pride. It is a true honor to be their mother. My husband is a wonderful person who is shy and reserved. I have no clue why he loves me and will not question it. (I don't question too many SERIOUS things). I am the loud beer at the party; the one dancing on the bar (and really shouldn't be). I am your 'portable party' and will have a glass of wine with you at any time. I am also the one who will cry with you over anything. I could truly care less if I NEVER saw my kitchen again. It is never used and looks like a model home kitchen. I am proud of this. I do, however, make a mean green bean. (Thanks to Momma Joyce).
Never once in my life have I not felt loved... either as a child or as an adult. My Childhood was very weird at times and as stated by the name of my blog quite warped however, through all of its quirkiness never once did I feel unsafe or truly scared. (Now on a few flights I have but that's a diifferent story). Not once did I miss a meal or was hungry by choice although there were times that we had no money.
Being a mother is the funnest thing I have ever done while being totally exhausted. It is also the most frustrating, aggravating, self reducing and jaw slapping thing. I am in awe of those who make parenting look easy. I write about how wonderful my children are on their blogs as their blogs serve as their life books. Who knows if and when I will ever make a scrap book for them since I simply can not sit still for that period of time. What I write about here is my childhood, life, thoughts on anything that occurs and the side of motherhood that is often kept silent. Let's just say it is a listing of my dysfunction with parenting skills.
We are a FUN LOVING Family who adopted our second child (first from Guatemala second from China) in November 2010. We are almost out of our total coma & have nothing but respect for those who have more than two kids (and those who have two as well). MOM -- Happy Go Lucky personality and always ready to have a great time.
DAD -- Shy and Reserved. Extremely Dry sense of humor.
LUKE --Toddler who brings a new meaning to "MONSTER ON A MISSION".
MARAN -- Little Porcelain Doll from China trying to find her way in this place called "America".
